The Beginners Ukulele group is official, and starting on 10th Jan. It will be directed by Mark Prince, and is there to get anyone who wants to, up to speed to enjoy playing the ukulele in a group.

It promises to be fun, and you will progress faster in a group where you get the support and satisfaction of all playing together. The ukulele is a great instrument for  making quick initial progress, and after that, it’s down to you.

You need no musical experience to join, and indeed the group is designed for just those adventurous types that want to try it. You don’t need to read music, just bring your ukulele. You can get a starter ukulele for £20 so the barrier to entry is really low.
